A Covid-19 New Years

Image
Image by Biljana Jovanovic from Pixabay Keeping New Years fun during "COVID time" It's difficult to think about being grateful or happy during New Year celebrations when there's a pandemic going on. With the stress of social distancing, naysayers, government turmoil, and anything else that 2020 decides to rain down on us, IT ...IS ...REALLY ...HARD! I couldn't agree more! But, dig deeper and pat yourself on the back because we made it. The human race continues to survive up to 2021 and as much as we think the world is at its end, it's still spinning and we're still kicking. So, with the ailments of 2020 how do we celebrate? How do we have fun safely? Hopefully I can give a few good ideas.  1. The Rose Parade is cancelled 😭 Photo by engin akyurt on Unsplash The Rose Parade is cancelled?!?!? Well, sort of. Yes Grown Ups! It's Time To Dress Up For Halloween!

Image
Photo by  Thirdman  from  Pexels Yes Grown Ups! It's Time To Dress Up For Halloween! We as adults really don't think about it. As we get older, we stop dressing up for Halloween. I think it was around high school, complete strangers began to tell me it wasn't ok for kids my age to trick or treat. I was taller than most, so fair enough ...or was it?  As I grew more and more into adulthood the spirit of one of my most favorite holidays began to dwindle and die. I slowed my routine of wearing a costume, parties became a chore, and then I just stopped thinking about it. A little scary movie was enough. It really became a mystery to me why it all stopped. Misconception will make you a bored and boring person Photo by Joshua Rawson-Harris on Unsplash Misc...

Soap has been the go to for a long time...well...like...forever really. In  perspective of soap's history, hand sanitizer is "future tech", convenient, and sometimes claimed to be a better solution for hygienic needs. This post will bring the bout to an end! Given the current times with the scare of  COVID-19 (corona virus) I feel this can be pretty relevant and useful information. WELCOME TO MY EXPERIMENT! I am trying something new; "Useful Facts". So You Think The World Is Ending?

Image
So You Think The World Is Ending?   Thank you  Pixabay.com I figured this would be a good welcome back post from my hiatus during busy season. It seems after every joyous holiday season the world goes from crazy to crazier. We all believe at some point in time that the world is ending and to be honest, who can blame you? Just about every year,  demi- decade or   decade something terrible is happening in the world like a super plague, a war, an election, or our favorite celebrities are dying tragically (mine was Robin Williams and David Bowie :-( boo!). Well hopefully this post can put you a little at ease as I'd like to tell you it isn't "that bad" in my opinion and we should worry a little BUT not as much as we do! This is the small print:  Most of this post is a reflection of my views based off articles that I've read, listened to, or viewed in fears for the...
