If there's something I've learned from my content creation adventure it would be that community is EVERYTHING! 

Welcome friends, family, collaborators and more to the RidiculouslyBen's community page! This is my way of giving back whether it be through exposure, give aways, events, charities, and more! This page is also a way to get to know one another and to stay up to date with any changes!

What better way to give back to our followers, friends, and community? A give away or raffle! From time to time a collaborator (most likely mr5mil3s) and/or I will be hosting a giveaway or raffle to the community. This is our way of giving back!

  • You may purchase any amount of tickets with your points to increase your odds of winning!

  • Confirmed Discord member: +1 ticket on first ticket purchase
  • For ever additional gifted subscription: +1 for every additional gifted sub (unlimited)

  • Must be a Twitch.Tv follower of either the collaborator or I.
  • Participants must be comfortable with providing the host or collaborator with their shipping address / P.O. box through a Discord or Twitch direct message (DM).
  • If the participant won and are not comfortable with providing an address to the collaborator or I, they can choose to give the prize to another participant of their choice or we can spin/roll for a new winner.
  • If tickets were purchased, you will not be required to be present during the raffle / giveaway results

    The S.P.I.C.Y., otherwise known as Spicy, Pizza, Ice Cream, Churros, Yum, is a delicious community of a decadent selection of variety streamers who love to laugh and have an amazingly fun and funny time! We're a healthy mix of comedians, artists, moms, dads, and more! Also, we're foodies! Maybe simple foodies but, foodies nonetheless. We love spicy! We love pizza! We love ice cream! OMG do we love churros! Just a yummy experience!

    The majority of The S.P.I.C.Y. is made up of individuals who are open-minded, caring, and have a sense of humor. We enjoy uplifting, promoting, and helping others the best we can! We like to provide a safe and welcoming environment with positive and comfortable vibes. Having a bad day? Just feel like vibing? Need a good laugh? Looking for more friends? Pop into one of our channels and we'll welcome you with open arms!

    The S.P.I.C.Y. allows viewers and followers to indulge in our silly good times. You can expect a unique non-serious, non-"try hard" good time experience a majority of the time. You may experience dark humor and sarcasm but please know, it is all for a good laugh. Our content creators provide game play from retro games as far back as the Atari 2600 to the newest and lavish PS5, XBox X, Switch, and PC games! We don't limit ourselves to just gaming either. We provide Just Chatting, ASMR (mostly comical), Arts & Crafts, Outdoors streams, and more! With "The S.P.I.C.Y." you can expect to see just about anything!

    Twitch.Tv only allows stream teams for partners only in which they can invite affiliates or non-affiliates to join them. Becoming a Twitch partner is pretty difficult, so, I'm taking it into my own hands to try and get something going! While this stream team doesn't work 1-to-1 the same way Twitch does it, I feel the experience here at RidiculouslyBen.com can be better as I've implemented some elements that a Twitch stream team does not provide such as personal links and a custom bio for each and every member!

    Time for another CHARI-TY!!! Upon request from the community we are working toward donations to help combat amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS):
    The ALS Association serves persons with ALS and their families across 34 counties in Northern Ohio. The ALS Association is the only national not-for-profit health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS. We cover all the bases; patient and community services, research, public education, advocacy, in providing help and hope to those facing the disease. We are committed to a comprehensive approach to meet the needs of the ALS community; patients, caregivers, family members, friends, healthcare workers.

    New charity up and running!!! Let's work together to beat cancer! A little bit of information about the charity:
    The LIVESTRONG Foundation fights to improve the lives of people affected by cancer now. Created in 1997, the Foundation is known for leading an ongoing dialogue with patients and survivors, providing free cancer support services and advocating for policies that improve access to care and quality of life. Since its inception, the Foundation has served 3.5 million people affected by the disease and raised more than $500 million to support cancer survivors.

    • Don't let the date fool you! This is somewhat an everlasting update until further notice. I've been taking a break from blogging BUT new content is planned AND there are some new exciting changes coming.
    What's being worked on RIGHT NOW:
    • Working on a brand new website and stepping away from this platform. It is time for something with a better flow, look, feel, and even more content! This has been a big project I've been working on for a few months now and it's just only coming down to a few finishing touches and affordability. (No obligations however, if you want to see the new site come into fruition sooner, feel free to make a donation.) No matter what, it will be happening in the next few months, hopefully!
    • We had a recent I.R.L. ghost hunt but, the live stream was not super successful due to connectivity issues. I have some exciting recordings so stay tuned on my YouTube!
    • Cancer Charity is extended till the end of this year! Thoughts and prayers for one of my best friend's mom who has stage 4.

    Updates:  
    • I am proud to announce I have started a new charity fundraiser on my Twitch channel for the LIVESTRONG Foundation. They're the lead in support (one of the best I could find at least) for cancer research and treatment.

      Why a cancer charity? I've had family that has had cancer. Also, during-post Covid a lot of people became unhealthy including myself.

      This could be an inspiration for a few outdoor IRL streams!!! Let's pull together and fight cancer!

    • Regrettably we didn't raise any money for "Gamers VS MS". As a result I removed it from this page. It is a charity I plan to participate in yearly. I would have participated myself but unfortunately I wasn't able to afford it.
    What's Next:
    • Still planning to set up stream team signups
    • Brainstorming and working with an amazing artist for stream team logo and banner! :HYPE:
    • Looking for another charity. Preferably one that lasts longer than a month.

    I am making some changes to the website I'm pretty excited about! Thanks to my buddies Sockdown , FluffyMew, and my willpower, the unofficial official stream team will be rolling out as early as today! You can find the stream team info here!

    • Applying the unofficial official stream team!!! It is a bit limited but it will be worked on until I get it jjjuuusssttt right!
    • Removed the stream at the footer of the page, because, uh STREAM TEAM!!! LOL
    What's Next:
    • Planning to add a merchandise page with coupons, sneak peeks and navigation to specific seasonal merchandise.

    • Plans to implement a first giveaway.

    Newest update to the RidiculouslyBen.com website is, well, this page! I'm so happy to present the following page and feel it's a huge accomplishment on my part. A lot of work was put into this and I hope to bring expand this even more!

    Blue Screen Of Death Blues. Possible Fixes For A Happy Computer!

    Let's Try And Fix Those Computer Problems And Blue Screens Whether it's your first time, reoccurring thing, or the the last straw, computer issues happen at the most inconvenient times. From slowing down your computer to the worst case scenario, a blue screen of death (BSOD), it can be very frustrating and scary. Not to worry! You should be thanking the "blue screen of death", as it is stopping your computer from essentially breaking itself or it's software. Also, there is often a misconception that a blue screen is always a result of hardware issues. This is not usually the case from my experience. This will be a guide to help you resolve these issues the fastest way without resulting in expensive hardware replacements or a reinstall of Windows. If you're unfamiliar with message boards, forums, chat rooms, or live streams; you may think a lurker is a negative entity to have around. We think, someone or some THING is watching, stalking, and waiting. In the streaming world however, lurking can provide some benefits. What is a stream lurker and why do they lurk? Simply put, a lurker is someone that chooses not to or is unable to participate in a stream's chat. There are many reasons a person may not participate in a stream or the stream's chat that may be, but not limited to, social anxiety, shyness, out for a drive, working, and/or just about any reason that hinders the ability to type or click something in the stream. So, why lurk?  Support! While some lurkers are there to just check out a streamer most lurkers, from my experience, are there to support the streamer.
